Jan Mimms, and her daughter own and operate Southerly
Bed and Breakfast. Having travelled and lived all
over the world, including Africa, Asia, and South America, they
have many interesting tales to tell, and are most gracious hosts.
Their home, although it was built in 2002, is true to contemporary
Southern Architecture and style. The interior is eclectic, showcasing
pieces representing their travels. The gardens also have been planted
to reflect traditional Southern style.
They have a great love for animals, and have a number of pets.
Maggie is their lovable dog, who is most definitely not camera shy!
Kit, Polly, and Bousah are the family cats. Please note that Maggie
and the cats will not invade your living quarters during your stay,
although they stroll freely on our grounds.
